Okay first off let me say Happy New Year I know it’s super late but I was ill
for some time with the man flu/cold and I caught it a 2nd time which
sucked.
Any way I am back feeling better, I know I have been
slacking with my blog but as I just said Justin is back baby so it’s time to
blog...
I have some stuff I’ve been working on, but it’s not ready
to post yet and I have a lot of good things coming this year, exciting times.
Last weekend
Friday I was in a very, very cold London (Just like Jean-Claude
Van Damme "My nipples were so cold, they started talking to me") I was
there for my first gig of the year Slipknot Prepare for Hell tour with Korn
& king 810
I’ll start with king 810 not really my cup of tea they
started playing when I was in the toilet and I thought to myself WTF is this, I
finished up and rolled back so I could see them... I saw and to be honest still
wasn’t digging it but they had 1 or 2 tracks I thought were alright in their
set. Must have been a great feeling for them guys to get on tour with Korn
& Slipknot
Next up Korn
Who were simply brilliant I’ve now seen Korn 3 times and
each time I swear they get better like a fine wine with age, I will never get
tired of hearing Freak on a Leash what a song but the best part of the night
was when Jonathan Davis of Korn called out some
the guys from Slipknot and they all covered Sabotage - Beastie Boys
Next up was the main event
Slipknot now this was 3rd
time seeing them, I first saw them at Download 2009 and nothing will beat that
but they came close on Friday night Yes! They were that good Wembley Arena was
going crazy everybody was having all the fun, definitely one of the best
gigs I've ever been to.
That weekend was long one but all the fun, Saturday I watched
most of UFC Fight Nigh from Stockholm and Sunday I watched all of the WWE Royal
Rumble with my friend Chris on the WWENetwork for 9.99 (Haha sorry that’s a wrestling thing)
Was a busy weekend and so is this coming weekend as it’s all
about wheelchair rugby, as we kick off training be great to see my team mates
again The Dorset Destroyers and have fun playing/learning.
Also I got my ticket for Download Festival I'm going back to
the Promised Land baby \m/
I’m super excited to finally see Motley Crue :-)
